Blog Post Synopsis
Within this blog post, we will be discussing the upcoming full Moon in the sign Virgo and how you can use it as a tool for healing, introspection and self mastery. Get your journal, it is time to reflect!
How to Use This Blog
The reason I create horoscopes is so that they can be used as a tool for introspection and reflection. I recognize, when observing the outside world from a general perspective, we receive very little encouragement to work on developing and understanding our inner world. Use the information provided in this blog for material to prompt guided introspection.
Background Information
When using Astrology as a tool for healing and introspection (within the realm of Natal Astrology), the planets can be viewed as energies that represent different parts of our nature. They show us that we are comprised of many parts that make a whole. The signs of the zodiac can be viewed as the atmosphere that the different parts of nature (the planets) express themselves through. Lastly, the astrological houses can be viewed as the different life areas that make up our lives. From this view point, interpreting horoscopes can be easier to digest and more practical for immediate implementation.
What You Came Here For
With the use of Horary Astrology, I casted a chart with the intention of finding out '“how this full Moon will be impacting the collective” and the casted chart revealed that this full Moon in Virgo will be collectively experienced within the 4th house.
The 4th house generally represents matters of our home, home life, mother, parents, ancestral lineage and real estate. Within the vein of modern Astrology, the 4th house is closely associated with the I.C or Imum Coeli, which generally represents our private life, or the part of the our lives that is the furthest away from the view of the public.
Traditionally, the 4th house is referred to as “The Subterranean Place”, subterranean meaning that which lies beneath the surface. A possible rationale for the name comes from the diurnal rotation of the Sun. When the Sun arrives at the 4th house, it can be viewed as it existing beneath the Earth, completely unseen from the Northern hemisphere.

From this perspective, the 4th house has gained the reputation of representing secrets, death or the place one goes to die, and even hidden illnesses. These significations add more to the modern Astrological alphabet that solely links the 4th house to the sign Cancer.
The sign Virgo represents the atmosphere this full Moon will be expressed through. The Earth sign Virgo, ruled by the planet Mercury, teaches us how identify the strengths and weaknesses of ourselves, as well as how to improve upon the parts of ourselves we would like to further develop.
The full Moon phase represents a time of illumination and magnification. That which was unseen to our consciousness will likely become hard to ignore at this time.
Horoscope
Conflict may occur due to being overly critical or judgemental of ourselves or those within our home or private life. This Virgo full Moon will be illuminating the roots of the challenges we have been experiencing in regards to our home, home life, parental obligations, parents, private matters and secrets that have surfaced or that we have been suppressing. The challenge here will be in deciding whether you desire to resolve the issue through forgiveness and open communication, or whether you want to hold on to it and develop resentment. As always, the choice is yours.
Full Moon Journal Prompts
Am I holding on to resentment?
What can I do to let go of this resentment?
Am I forgiving?
Would I feel better if I forgave myself/ them?
Do I feel I have something to apologize for?
What prevents me from forgiving?
What prevents me from apologizing?
What exactly am I holding on to and why?
Is holding on to his serving me?
Conclusion
While the Moon will be full in the sign Virgo, the Sun will be within the sign Pisces. The sign Pisces teaches us how to accept ourselves and those around us. Empathy, acceptance and peace are the goals. If you find yourself focusing a great deal of your attention on self improvement and perfectionism, allowing yourself to feel the qualities of Pisces listed above, may provide you with some relief and useful perspective. Learning how to accept yourself or those you love as they are in the present moment may be challenging at first, due to letting go of past hurts, however, it can save you from experiencing further heart ache and pain.
