Blog Post Synopsis

How to Use This Blog
The reason I create horoscopes is so that they can be used as a tool for introspection and reflection. I recognize, when observing the outside world from a general perspective, we receive very little encouragement to work on developing and understanding our inner world. Use the information provided in this blog for material to prompt guided introspection.
Background Information
When using Astrology as a tool for healing and introspection (within the realm of Natal Astrology), the planets can be viewed as energies that represent different parts of our nature, or frequencies that resonate with and influence different parts of our nature. They show us that we are comprised of many parts that make a whole. The signs of the zodiac can be viewed as the atmospheres that the different parts of our nature (the planets) express themselves through. Lastly, the astrological houses can be viewed as the different life areas that make up our lives. From this view point, interpreting horoscopes can be easier to digest and more practical for immediate implementation.
Reminder: The study of Astrology is from the perspective of the Earth looking out towards the cosmos. In other words, Astrology is an Earth based natural science. Having this piece of context at the back the mind can be a helpful best practice when discussing anything regarding the study of Astrology.
Full Moon and New Moon 101
Full Moons are always in the opposite sign of the Sun. For example, on May 16th, 2022 there was a total lunar eclipse in the sign Scorpio and the Sun was in the sign Taurus. Scorpio and Taurus are opposites signs. New Moons on the other hand always take place within the same sign the Sun. For example, the Sun is currently in the sign Gemini and the new Moon on May 30th was in the sign Gemini.
Notes From Jemm
I want to lay the foundation to get everyone on the same page. I grapple with communicating my knowings, fearing I will contribute to verbal pollution I hear regularly. Trusting the reality that what I say will meet those vibrationally aligned with the message challenges the previous agreements I have made regarding the value I see in what I say. Writing blog posts allows me to alter these agreements, which I value.
I want to emphasize that I use Astrology as a tool for internal and external self-exploration and not as an excuse to evade accountability. Astrology has given me the language to describe the unseen world and a connection to past ancient African civilizations. The roots of this study run deep, and that depth provides the necessary context for using Astrology to understand the present and predict the future. We are observing trends.
The energy surrounding us constantly shifts, and Astrology provides us with the language to acknowledge these shifts and observe how we respond to them. Internalization and observation appear to be the two routes taken, and what ultimately determines this is our state of alignment/ groundedness. When we internalize, we react, and when we observe, we respond to the shift in energy. Anytime we do either, we have made a choice and accepting that choice will prevent heaviness from accumulating, whether guilt, debt, weight gain or intrusive thoughts.
What You Came For
On June 14th, 2022, there was a full super Moon in the sign Sagittarius. “Super” refers to the Moon’s Perigee, the closest point of the Moon’s orbit to Earth. During super Moons, the Moon appears larger and brighter than other full Moons because of its proximity to Earth, and I feel the presence of the Moon more deeply during super Moons for that reason.
Feelings are objective indications of an energy shift, while emotions are subjective internal connections to an idea of what we assume that feeling is revealing within us. Our past internalizations and experiences create narratives that manifest in emotions.
During this full Moon, I felt the presence of the Moon, and that was all. I did not feel any emotions as a result, and I recognized that the emotions we experience are our choice, consciously or unconsciously. Our emotions are a tool used to give meaning to our experiences in life; however, not every feeling requires an emotion for us to understand it. Sometimes the knowledge associated with certain feelings will become known later. The key to understanding whether to give meaning or not is by listening to our intuition.
Intuition and Wisdom
Intuition and wisdom have a fascinating relationship. Intuition is a feeling of deep knowing, while wisdom is knowledge gained through experience from previous years and lifetimes. A way we can trust our intuition is to connect with our wisdom by asking, “what do I know to be true?”
The sign Sagittarius, ruled by the planet Jupiter, is an atmosphere that connects us with our internal wisdom using our perception. What do you KNOW to be TRUE? This question is devoid of your emotions, and I would argue it is also devoid of your thoughts. To know, we must feel and pull from the energies around us. The sign Sagittarius is mutable, meaning during the Sagittarius season in December, the climate shifts from an equinoctial season (Autumn) to a tropical season (Winter). This shift displays a time of transition. Gemini, like Sagittarius, is also a mutable sign, highlighting the change from Spring to Summer.
Horoscope
At this time, you may find yourself going through a transition that requires use of your intuition as the 6th sense it is. Your fear of trusting your intuition may contribute to the discomfort of this shift. This Sagittarius full super Moon can be considered a reminder for you to use wisdom as a tool to connect with your intuition. Your sense of adventure is needed because you will find yourself exploring uncharted territory, which will expand every inch of your life as you know it. Remembering that growth is a part of life and that risks create growth can quell anxiety about making the wrong move. Only you know what is sincerely best for you, so make your decisions confidently.
Journal Prompts
Am I holding onto any gulit? If so, why?
Why am I afraid of taking this leap into uncharted territory?
Do I react or respond more to outside stimuli? Why?
What do I know to be true?
Conclusion
Trusting what you know to be true will lead you closer to consciously connecting with your intuition. Your intuition will never lead you astray, so attuning your understanding to that connection is important. It is 1:33AM on the clock as I write this. Please know you are safe. Let that be the green light for you to let your guard down and trust your inner knowing. Life is meant to be lived, not feared!
